Past students of St. Louis Grammar School, Kilkeel often return to their alma mater to discuss their career paths, much to the benefit of the current students. Such events have proved to be invaluable in helping current students to plan for their future.

The recent visit by former student Anna Trainor to the Art Department at St. Louis was fully welcomed by Head of Art Mrs Jayne Grant. “During her A level studies at St. Louis Anna was very focused on attaining the highest grade to give her more options for her future, but she knew her future would lie in the wider world of Art and Design” said Mrs Grant.

Anna moved on from St. Louis to study Art at UUJ in Belfast and graduated with BA Hons Degree in Fashion and Textiles. As well discussing the variety of experiences offered by her time at UUJ, Anna was also interested in the projects the St. Louis students were currently developing

Anna , who has recently taken up a position with Bedwin Soft Furnishings, also discussed the vast array of opportunities that are available to students in the current labour market. She thanked Mrs Grant for the invitation to come back to St. Louis.
